What is Skin Needling?
Facial SKIN NEEDLING, or COLLAGEN INDUCTION THERAPY, is a unique process that plumps up the skin’s NATURAL collagen and elastin in depressed areas. This procedure has been proven effective in diminishing the unwanted facial wrinkle, removing scars caused by acne, softening crow’s feet and lessening wrinkles in the peri-orbital and naso-labial regions. As a result of this effective cosmetic treatment, the skin’s elasticity and any type of skin indentations or skin scars will noticeably improve.
Skin Needling is accomplished by inserting a sterile needle grouping into the numbed epidermal layer of tissue to create a wound which signals the brain to send collagen to the injured site for repair. This signal creates an abundance of collagen, thus plumping up the injured area and creating a softer, subtler appearance of wrinkles, acne scars and other depressed areas. What are the Benefits of Micro needling vs Other methods such as Laser Treatments?
The outer layer, or epidermis, is not removed and is left in tact. The healthy skin and blood vessels in between the lines, wrinkles and scars are preserved. This improves healing, collagen stimulation and long term results. It is ok to have multiple or on-going treatments with this procedure as the skin thickens and strengthens over time, versus thinning over time as with other processes. It can also be used in delicate areas, such as under and around the eyes to treat “Crows Feet” lines, thin and crepe like skin, and can even help the appearance of dark circles.
Is there any Discomfort During the procedure?
We use topical anesthetic of multiple ingredients to numb the skin prior to the needling. There is minimal, if any, discomfort during these procedures.

One on one training can be arranged on request. You will have adequate hands on practical experience while training. You will leave the training feeling 100% confident and capable. Please note that your training can be done in your own time as well as in the evenings or weekends.
